Temporary Stays and Moves (TSM) is a series of performative works which examine the inquisitive as well as the concepts of transformation and mobility. Physical intimacy and spontaneity are central to the group’s work when they move out into public space with tents and trolleys.
Temporary Stays and Moves/Tent is a work that creates a situation in which artists and random passers-by build an open, movable construction of tents. There is free play with forms, lines and spaces in the intimacy that arises out of the experimentation.
Tent is a piece that creates a pocket in public space in which things happen in a different tempo and on different terms.
The project is developed and carried out by:
Anja Christensen, Birgitte Munk, Bodil Porse, Dorte Kyhn, Katrine Hvid, Sanne Grauengaard, Sanne Ransby and Ulrik Lund
NOMAD is a part of ProKK’s exhibition programme for Aarhus as a European Capital of Culture 2017.
